Nutramigen VS. Soy Formula....?
With all the new studies made on soy and its negative effects, would you say that feeding an infant Nutramigen would be a better option than the soy based formula? So nutrition wise, what do you think?
I asked my doc this very question and she seems to believe that there are no good case studies to go against soy. We had to get my daughter off of milk-based because she broke out in a rash. When I told my parents this, they told me that I had to be on soy because of a milk allergy too. I turned out just fine. I was more than willing to pay twice as much for the best for my baby, but the doc insisted I keep her on soy unless there was a real reason to put her on Nutramigen.
