Pie Baby
Has anyone ever made a pie like this one?
Ok... this may sound strange to some of you who've never fed a baby, but i tasted this new jar food i just got her... it was called pumpkins with pear and it was amazingly good... i would eat it (if i didnt know how to chew lol) but anyways, i bet it would be delicious if there was a pie version of it. Has anyone ever made such a pie? if so, can i get the recipe? or a site to make/buy it? thank you so much!
Here is one.
Pumpkin-Pear Pie
3/4 c. pumpkin
3/4 c. pear sauce (or applesauce)
1/2 c. Brown sugar
1/2 c. turbinado sugar ( or refined sugar)
1 t. ginger, ground
1/4 t. cloves
1/2 t. cinnamon, ground
2 eggs
1 c. milk, scalded
1-9" pie shell
Combine the first 2 ingredients; add the sugar and spices. Beat in the eggs and milk. Pour into a 9" pie shell and bake at 375 for 60 minutes. Yield: 1 9"pie
